Il documentario racconta di una pedagogia costantemente in ricerca, di un lavoro - quello della maestra - vissuto come un modo di vivere, di una classe fatta di persone che crescono.

For more than 30 years the ‘Madonna Assunta’ state primary school of Naples has been engaged in its educational mission, never ceasing to question and explore the role of the public school system. Inspired by Célestin Freinet’s ‘pedagogy for the people’ while also experimenting with other teaching methods and approaches, ‘Madonna Assunta’ has built its very own approach based on the elements of creative work and of learning through the body.
The school was in danger of being closed down a few years ago but was saved thanks to the activism of parents, teachers and of ex-pupils, the documentary’s director among them.
